Religious Education
Welcome
Welcome and thank you for your interest in our Religious Education Program. Saint Anthony Parish is a bilingual parish. It is our wish to support and pass on the faith to the children and families.
Our Program consists of one sessions, on Sunday mornings, having grades 1-8. The session is from 8:15AM-9:30AM, followed by the 9:45AM Mass. Classes are given in the parish hall and mini hall in the premises of the church. Parking is available for all in the back.
As part of the curriculum, St. Anthony has implemented a Safety Program for all children, young adults and adults. The programs are entitled: TAT (Talking About Touching) for grades 1-3, KCS (Keeping Children Safe) for grades 4-8 and VIRTUS for adults. For more information, please contact the Religious Education Director at 617-547-5593.
Having the two sessions enables all families to enjoy the 9:45AM Mass Celebration which is part of our program that we strongly encourage all students and parents to participate.
Our Sacramental Preparation, (First Penance and First Communion) is a two (2) year program. Children will receive their First Eucharist in the Spring. For more information on the Sacraments please refer to the First Communion link.
Our Confirmation Program is a two (2) year program and it’s offered on Tuesdays from 6:30PM-8:30PM. Mass Celebration is in English at 6:30PM for all candidates, family and friends. For more information please refer to the Confirmation link.
To register your child for our program, please print the Registration Form. Then fill it out and mail it back, with the enrollment fee, to St. Anthony Parish, Religious Education Office at 400 Cardinal Medeiros Ave. Cambridge MA. 02141.

Mission Statement
We, at Saint Anthony’s, believe that our Religious Education Program is a continuing journey of faith. It is one that begins in the home and is reinforced by our weekly classes.
Our objective is to teach the students the basic principles of the Catholic Faith; however giving meaning to the rituals and symbols of our faith is not enough. It is up to you, as parents, to provide a daily commitment to God by practicing the gift of faith and setting an example for your children. Our efforts will not be effective unless they are combined with your efforts.
